Our website address is Simba.fm. We have a mobile application (App) on the Google Playstore and Apple iTunes.
This policy details how data about you is used when you access our websites and services, including via our mobile applications (together, “Simba”) or interact with us. If we update it, we will revise the date, place notices on Simba.fm if changes are material, and/or obtain your consent as required by law.
For the record, Simba website/app is part of the Mvideos Inc Limited’s publishing family that includes other brands such as African Stories, Undiscovered Sounds of Africa, Esquavi and more.

We will need to confirm your identity before processing your request by asking you to log into your existing account (if you are a registered user) or by asking you for additional information, such as a government issued ID, to confirm your identity against information we have already collected.
If you are a registered Simba.fm user under the age of 18, you may request (via [email protected]) and obtain removal of content or information publicly posted on Simba.fm. Please note that removal does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of said content or information from the Internet.
5. International Users
By accessing Simba.fm or providing us data, you agree we may use and disclose data we collect as described here or as communicated to you, transmit it outside your resident jurisdiction, and store it on servers in the United States. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
